사랑해(요) K-PoP

Hey Lovies! Long time no updates huh?  :D I feel sorry for not posting as much as I should but Globe tattoo is acting up lately. I know I need a lot of catching up with you and I hope this new entry is interesting enough to break my long silence. YEEAAAHHBAAHH! It is good to be back...
Okay, I think I am ready for another "makeup inspired look" after someone said harsh words on my Alodia G inspired entry. We need to move on, right? So here is a K-POP inspired makeup for everyday look. Korean fashion, style and makeup has gained a widespread attention among beauty gurus across the globe and I am a big fan of it. Basically K-POP makeup focuses on dramatic eyeliner with bold lashes. I think that is main highlight of this entire blog... come look at my eyes. LOL :D Here is a quick guide of the whole inspiration that I am talking here..
Familiar? who could forget the Krung2x Sandara Park? Take note of the face, its dewy and toned down. Lips and cheeks are rosy. Clean, fresh and young!
It took me two busy hours trying to replicate this look and I therefore conclude that this makeup can't suit everyone. You need to use the right eyeliner technique for your eyeshape. Wish I can make a VBLOG tutorial for this but I can't.. I need a good quality DSLR cam. Ehem! Calling all sponsors. Har! har! Okay, here are my photos... Enjoy!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Show your support by subscribing. Saranghaeyo!

Random Surprises

Hi Lovies!
My heart aches at the sight of my tiny living area. Someone drilled a hole at my ceiling, crammed a bundle of ugly wires and attached it to my HD TV! They even left hideous shoe marks at my newly upholstered chair! Monsters! I am too lazy to clean the mess and I don't freakin know what to do with these wires hanging as if they are waiting for Tarzan to come and make lambitin to them.
The good things is, chan-chararan!, my place is now extra cool because it is now equipped with CCTV (I don't know what C.C.T.V. stands for and I am too lazy to Google it. Please do the favor.) But I am pretty sure that I have smart readers and you already know what I am talking about. So yeah, thanks to all the hold-uppers of the Republic of the Philippines! If not for all of you, my parents won't spend a single cent just to make sure that nobody's going to steal my lipstick collection composed mainly of drugstore brands. HAHA! Now I have a messy place and a new camera to bitch around with.
BTW, if you know a place that sells pink masking tape please let me know. I am planning to cover all the wires with neon pink tape, think it will look better eh?
Also today, I learned that I am freaking married!
Oh good Lord! When will all the jokes end? Seriously? "LOVE YOUR HUSBAND"? I can't remember being married to anybody whose handwriting sucks and apparently can't use a punctuation mark properly.
This could be a different Charlotte, right? I hope so!

KIKAYmergencies

A Kikay like you must be equipped and ready for anything. You should handle any disaster big or small with swift and style.  *And I just laughed hard after writing these two lame sentences.*  ◔◡◉
But seriously, I have some quick solutions for you life's itty bitty troubles. You must consider that tiny troubles are real TINY..ok? For BIGGER emergencies please refer to GOD.
Ok, so let's start with these few troubles:

Say you bought a pair of lovely pumps with 4-inch heels but they are a bit loose and very uncomfortable to use. Why did you buy it anyway? duh! But Given that the shoes loosen on its own or you bought it online where sizes are crazy, one simple solution is...
GEL HEEL LINERS- provide cushioned protection that prevent shoes from slipping off your feet and also prevent blisters from forming due to friction from walking.

Bad breath emergency due to prolonged silent mode. Bad odor is a turn off! And I know you won't be bringing a toothbrush/toothpaste with you all the time. If spraying a mouth disinfectant is way too obvious that your breath is starting to get stinky, try popping this kikaymergency candy.
You can use tictacs or anything that comes handy. But a pink candy is a plus!

Nobody wants a wardrobe malfunction unless you really are slutty. However for special occasions that you have to wear revealing clothes, displaying your asset SAFELY is a must! How do we secure the edges of strapless dresses, gowns and other apparels? Or preventing bra straps from slipping?  To keep a piece of item in place, you can use fashion tape.
Easy to use stick-peel-and go! Press the tape firmly to your skin, peel and let the fabric bond with your skin in a hypoallergenic way.

Baffled by long tiring lines at banks, cashier registrar, ticket outlets, et cetera. And to top the scene, you are a bit hungry...Always remember that a modern woman is independent, witted, gutsy, and best of all LAGING HANDA. Wherever you're going always bring a light snacks with you because you never know when fate is going to throw jokes on you.

Dog/cat owner? Ever wonder how to remove pet hair sticking to your clothes? Quick and easy tidy-up tool is necessary to keep your clothes looking fresh, right? You can try this travel size lint brush to solve this kind of fashion emergency.

You are stuck in a boring conversation and there is no easy way to politely say "Oh man! Can we cut this off? You are such a waste of my  time". My suggestion is to always have an interesting book with you and whenever a tiny chit-chat goes nowhere, bring out the book and slam it to his face. Haha! You can do that if you want but you can also pretend that you got a chapter to catch up with. You can offer him the book if you want to be extra polite. ◔◡◉ I swear he will be extra sensitive next time.

This is the final and my favorite of all the kikaymergencies. A stalker asked for an autograph, how do we deal with it? I suggest two things:
1. If your stalker is cute: Bring out your cutest pen... scented is a plus!
2. If the stalker is opposite from number 1: Bring out a lachrymator and suggest a fight if he insists for a signature. Always remember what your mom told you, "NEVER TALK TO STRANGERS".

Reminder: Follow at your own risk. I ain't paying any hospital bill.

Day 14 - A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without

Ugh! This is hard... I honestly can't figure out living my life without my mother, father and all of my siblings. They mean a lot to me and my life is no good without them. But since it is quite obvious that all of us (or maybe majority) can't imagine a life without a family, I am going to pick someone not in any way related to me by consanguinity.
Nine years ago I met this loving, considerate, smart, truthful guy and I haven't been able to get rid of him since. Now, I don't want to get rid of him ever! He provide a balance in my life and even if he is not my boyfriend I would still want him to be part of my life because I can't really imagine any better partner in my ups and downs. I CAN'T IMAGINE MY LIFE WITHOUT HIM and I hope he gets to stay longer than longer.
I want to post the lyrics of the song Perfect Two by Auburn but I don't want to get this uber mushy and leave him thinking that I am not serious. Hey you, yes you guy from the picture, you better give me a nice dinner tonight! ᵔᴥᵔ

Once Upon A Female Beginner

Hi lovies!
Last week I twitted about this...
A few responded that they share the same feeling... gustong maging 18 uli! Why not? Age ain't nothing but a number. At sabi nga ni KC "Young is an attitude". This may seem correct but being 18 is already a far cry from this cliche, at least for me. 24 siguro pwede pa...
Hindi na ako pwede mag debut uli kaya mag re-reminisce na lang ako. Seven years ago I didn't really want to celebrate a debut party rather I want to keep the money intended for it and buy my self a grand gift. My mother and sister did not agree and went on with their plans. I am helpless but I made sure that the following conditions were stressed upon them:
1. I won't wear a gown.. no long uncomfortable, itchy and disgusting dresses. I hate gowns back then.
2. I won't do it in a hotel... I want an open space... nothing too formal.. I want everyone to feel at home.
3. No mushy mushy dances like JS prom! No no!
4. No pink allowed! See? KJ ako noon.
and
5. No long boring speeches!
THEREFORE they decided to host a Hawaiian-inspired debut party for me. They invited my closest friends, teachers, relatives and classmates. It was very fun and memorable. Instead of the traditional 18 roses, we opted for 18 leis. Instead of gowns, I wore a boring tube dress with bold floral prints. I find the outfit funny but I feel so beautiful that night. HAHA! And you must take note of the gigantic flower tacked in my hair.Oh such an innocent child! We had a simple program followed by a bountiful meal. A party is not a party without food, right? Then we went for a swimming... the real celebration started.
Simple lang but sobrang saya. Looking back made me teary-eyed. I am very blessed to have experienced a debut party and I will be forever thankful to my family for this wonderful memory. At kung mag de-debut ako uli? Siguro same pa rin..same venue... same outfit minus the gaudy hair piece... same set of menu but only few more guests because I will surely invite all of you!

Day 13 - A picture of your favorite band or artist

You won't find faith or hope down a telescope
You won't find heart and soul in the stars
You can break everything down to chemicals
But you can't explain a love like ours.
"Science & Faith"

No Doubt it is THE SCRIPT!

Day 12 - A picture of something you love

I am a huge fan of loving. I love my family, my friends, my stuffed animals, my room, shopping, teas, chocolate, marshmallows, jewelries, hello kitty, movies, traveling, poems, arts and crafts and a whole lot more. Although I'd post a picture of them, I think the point of this photo challenge is to get to know me in a different angle. Go beneath the facade and get to know more about me, just in case you are interested.
Opps! Do I need to give a firsthand warning? Sorry for the disturbing images.
I love life yes, no doubt but I also love solving the mysteries behind deaths. I love reading and watching anything and everything about murders, serial killers, crime scene investigation. I love the thrill it gives me...

Day 11 - A picture of something you hate

I CANNOT post the real picture of something that I hate because I CANNOT withstand the mere presence of it here in my blogsite. It gives me sleepless nights, undefined sudden itchiness, goosebumps and I totally go insane whenever I encounter photos that sort of look like this
This is the friendly version of the scene that I am totally avoiding. This one is a beehive. What I am greatly terrified are photos of holes/bumps that are massive but in small sizes. I wish I can describe it well but thinking about it is a big torture for me. Think of beehives that got some hardened honey peeking out... yeah! Or a soil that has some small holes with worms coming out... anything with holes or bumps with anything inside! UGH! I FREAKIN HATE IT!!!!! And now.. I am starting to itch. Guess I have to blame it on this photo challenge.
