Out and About: Phoenix 2012 Business Partners Appreciation Night

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. celebrated a successful 2012 as the leading independent oil company with a night of gratitude, fun and celebration last December 8, 2012 at SMX Convention Center Davao. Dealers, distributors, suppliers, commercial clients, and business partners in their best Filipiniana inspired suits and gowns attended the said event. 2012 was a big year for Phoenix. This year we were more dynamic, more active, and more aggressive. (...and you are probably raising one brow, and say: what's up with the very serious note) (trip ko lang!) Despite my lousy introductory blah blah blahs, I beam of hope that you will have fun browsing the photos, which I managed to gather during the actual event.
Scanned copies of the souvenir photos
SMX Center was transformed into a seemingly elegant mansions during the Spanish era; Footmen were wearing katsa and the typical suits that you probably have read in the novel Noli Me Tangere.
I am with the best escort.
Beau is wearing a Barong Tagalog designed by Niko Oxales of KC Couture. The shade of which, perfectly fits my purse.
A wonderful view from the back. That headpiece was freaking heavy!
THE COMPANY doing what they do best: entertaining the crowd.
TMQ is blatantly displaying how much she loves the gown.
See you at the red carpet lovies!

Thank you for stopping by and accept my apologies for the minimal updates... J t'aime ya'll! ♥

Across the finish line or on the trails... GIRLS GET DIRTY TOO!

You will never find the words dirt bike, power sports, drag racing in my lexicon. And never mind if it is almost 3:00 AM because my mind need to be freed of these thoughts. And I swear I will never ever stand under the scorching heat of the sun in order to watch a male specie trade his life just to be the master of motocross.  (I know I said "never" a lot. My apologies.) Motocross is such a pointless act of suicide! I hate these types of sports but  as the cliche goes, "the more you hate, the more you love." Today, I woke up and found myself in the borderline of like and love.. you dig me? I woke up early just to watch a Motocross event! Did I just say that? and yeah, I must admit that I've watched a couple other tournaments before. This makes sentence number two out of order. The thing is my interest for the sport is slowly progressing. God forbids if I transform into an off-road vixen one day.

I have some photos to share that were taken at a Motocross event sponsored by Phoenix Petroleum Phil. for the Araw ng Sta. Cruz celebration. I am not riding any bike this time.. But I promise you the next time I post a blog regarding extreme sports I will be the one making all the kings bite the dust! Har har... But yeah I am serious, I will learn how to ride a bike, a honda CRF150R perhaps and try to maneuver it in a terrain. (added bucketlist and I will offer a novena to the holy archangel that he will protect all my limbs and body parts as I try to enter into the world of race track) but for now let's leave all the daydreaming aside and appreciate the beauty of the sport. (long sentence! please excuse the manic)

I've never seen enough dust in my whole life until this day

The messy girl after the event... sweat + dust= liquid foundation

PS

At the event I saw a good friend who will be entering a world much more dangerous than extreme sports: MARRIAGE. Haha! I wish her luck though and lots of kids!!! ;)

Get to Know Me in 10 Questions

1. What would you do with 100 million Peso?
Uhuh! Tough one first? Save 50 % in the bank. 25 Million will be invested to... apparel business, real estate, another gasoline station?? hhmmm... 10 M for my mama and papa... another 10 M for charity ( I have to give back of churs!) and the remaining 5 M will be for my needs... car, condo unit, new cam for blogging.. ;)

2. When are you happiest?
This is simple. I have a shallow sense of joy... A stuffed toy can even make me really happy how much more seeing my family all alive and kicking and just enjoying the best of life!

3.  What was your most embarrassing moment?
Manifesting the sign of cross in front of an SSS building (the one in Bajada) because I was thinking it was a church!

4. Who do you want to take a picture with?
I want to start with the most possible. I would love to have my picture taken with the President and CEO of Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. Mr. Dennis Uy. I have to let him know that I adore him a lot... and that I am looking forward to the day that I can be like him, successful leader and builder of a company.

5. What is your dream job?
Haha! honestly? I was dreaming of becoming a mother majorette when I was a kid. Silly because I have the perception that it was a job. But now that I am a bit wiser, I want to be a physician... way to go!

6. What is your dream car?
Pickup truck! RED! any brand.. but hopefully new model

7. Name one thing you cannot live without?
My eyeglasses! the world will be doomed without them...

8. What do you notice when you first meet a guy?
nails... eyes... teeth...

9. BF or Career?
I demand to have both! I can multi-task! ;)

10. What is a lesson you've learned in life?
 Lessons:

- Life is wasted to the living. You never start appreciating life unless you are in a hospital bed!
- Amat Victoria Curam- Victory likes careful preparation.
- No one can love you better except yourself but you can only do that by starting to love others.
- History repeats itself until we learn the lessons that we need to change our path
