Less is MORE

Finally the constant itch is gone, I hope for good. I am referring to that feeling of "I want more" and "I need more"... that feeling of not having enough. I don't exactly know what's up with the weirdness, but I woke up today feeling complete. (gezz this sounds too serious) That "something more to life and something more in life" mystery is finally getting less vague. :)

❤'s Day Just Got a Little Sweeter

In this world of lies, betrayal and infidelity (my apologies for the prejudicial opening statement), I consider my self BEYOND lucky to be with a man who holds my heart with utmost care. Yesterday, we celebrated our nine years of being together. NINE YEARS! I know some of you might say nine years is... nothing, but for me it's an accomplishment. It is hard to cultivate a relationship. It can get exhausting at times. Healthy and functional relationship needs a lot of action... and having someone who is willing to build it with you makes the battle less burdensome. When you get older (at least I thought) you change your ways of seeing things.. of seeing love. Nine years of being in a steady relationship taught me to view love holistically. To appreciate not just the good happy times but also the devastating and heart breaking moments. To be romantic yet practical. To be in love yet sane. Ours is not a perfect one, but we are learning and growing to be individually complemental of each other.
He went inside the flower shop and said: I want the best bouquet for my girl. The sweetest act ever.
When a man brings you a dozen of balloons without being emasculated, he could be deeply in love.
Cheers for the nine years
Never let go of a man who treats you like a queen.

Concluding January

Hello, hello, hello! I don't know if it's just me, but January passed by quicker than quick. January has been all about morning devotion over cereals, redecorating space, regular night classes, reading until unholy hours, salon trip during weekends, hot beverages on cold rainy days, attending Sunday Mass, and a lot of  lipstick, blusher and love in between.

How about you, How was your January?
