Cyber Monday

Yo!
I spent the entire day surfing the WWW, placing some orders (blame it on huge sales) and listening to grooveshark.com. Lazy day! Amen! Most online stores got crazy deals therefore I decided to be a bad girl and clicked the checkout button. I am excited to receive my orders but I am a bit sad thinking that I did not keep my promise of saving up for my renovation. Speaking of renovation I already have the floor plan for my soon to be sanctuary. I want to share it with you but for safety reasons I decided not to. :) Better be safe than sorry...
How's your Monday? Did you go crazy over shopping?

Ho!Ho!

I wasn't very excited for Christmas until I went home yesterday and saw our place all decked out for the holidays. All of a sudden I felt exhilarated and I can't wait to fill my nieces/nephews/inaanaks stockings with goodies. Even the air felt different. It's colder and smells cinnamon(y). Ugh! And colors red and green are everywhere..... and candy cones too... and Christmas bazaars... and songs.... hhhhhmmmm can't help but smile and feel the spirit of the season. Before I get extra dramatic here let me share some snap shots of how my mama and papa made our home sweet home Christmas ready.

I know this is not Christmas related but I love the new chandelier at our living room.

Thank for dropping by!

I had fun judging the search for the Hiyas ng Zone III 2011 but I had more fun after the event. It was almost one in the morning and I am starving therefore I grabbed a dinner and ate it at my friend's studio. After the late dinner, we decided to treat our narci selves with a quick photo shoot. Here are some of the photos...
Thank you soo much sir Dave of Grapika Dabaw and to his lovely wife Miss Fernz (nanglood) Barro for the wonderful mornyt. Love you guys...

Random: What A Lousy Title

It's Saturday night and all I have is a good wine and a platter of chips. What happened to Saturday night outs and painting the town red? Am I in a social withdrawal stage? Maybe not but I am enjoying nights alone with good movies, novels, songs and unlimited internet. I am currently editing some photos and I hope to post a couple blogs soon.... and yes, did I mention that I am loving the song "COME ON GET HIGHER" by Matt Nathanson? Listen to it you guys and tell me what you think bout it. Okai?

Hmmm yeah I will finish the editing, the wine and the chips and I will get back on you.

Color Your Hair With BUBBLE

I am a big fan of Etude House Bubble hair color shampoo. It is cheap (378 Php) compared to the cost you may incur by going to the salon. The result is amazing too minus all the mess brought my other hair dyes. I am using the shade natural brown just in case you are wondering.
The kit contains the following items:
1. Latex Gloves
2. Pump filled with clear liquid
3.Hair coloring solution in a foil
4. Silky perfumed treatment sachet
5. Instruction pamphlet that is rather useless because it's written in Korean.
The first step is to break off the plastic seal from the hair coloring foil then pour the content into the pump. Close the pump securely then swirl it slowly. Do not shake vigorously. Remember to swirl slowly until the liquids mix together.
Wear the gloves and dispense the foam from the pump. Cover your hair with the foam just like you are shampooing. Your hair must be dry when you do this.
Let the foam stand for 40 minutes.
Rinse with water and take the silky perfumed treatment and use it like a conditioner. I particularly love this treatment because it made my hair so smooth and and tangle-free. Plus it smells great too.
Voila! This is how my hair looks after using the product. I did not take a "before-after" photo because this is pretty much the same hair color that I have before applying the color shampoo. I just wanted to touch-up the area that became darker because of hair growth. Unfortunately, the remaining product can't be stored for future use. To all the bellas who have shorter hair but want to try the product, grab someone and share the cost.

Happy Color Shampooing Lovies!

Denim Meets Nautical

Ahoy Lovies!
Today I decided to make my own version of the nautical look. I know summer is way over but who cares if I want to be sailor (ish) today.
I went with the look with a simple racer back white tank, a denim vest and a pair of blue skinnies. The brooch made such a statement together with the anchor bracelet with red ribbon and gold details. The red stilleto is also a good piece to incorporate with this kind of trend however, I don't want to go overboard therefore I stick with a simple gold watch and a rhinestone white ring to complete the outfit.

Opsies! Yeah I am wearing my eyeglasses today because my eyes are acting up since last night.. just a little redness and itchiness. I hope this will be gone soon.
